Virender Sehwag holds the unique record of scoring the least number of balls for India in Test cricket, which he made on 19 December 2008 while playing against England at the MA Chidambaram Stadium in Chennai. In this innings, Sehwag completed his half-century in just 32 balls, which was the fastest in India’s Test cricket history at that time. This innings played a vital role in India’s historic Test win of 387 runs, which was the highest successful run chase till that time.
